One particular genre or style of music that has caught my ear over the last year is the loosely defined ambient electronic pop or lo-fi electro, call the genre what you will, some of the music falling under this branch is wondrous. From acts such as James Blake, The Weeknd and Animal Collective, these easy to listen artists are really making an impression on the music scene at the moment.
