Doctor Rosen Rosen - Girls EP

If you like poppy electro music you should definitely enjoy these four songs released by Doctor Rosen Rosen this morning. Doctor Rosen Rosen is probably more well known for his remixes of other's songs, but I think he definitely deserves some hype from these tracks. The idea is that he makes the backing music, and gets four different girls to sing on each track of this EP, suitably titled Girls. You can grab the entire EP for free from his website here or you can easily have a listen to each track.

The four 'girls' are Jessie Malakouti, from her band Jessie and The Toy Boys, who sings on the most poppy song of the four, Five O'Clock. Poison is the next song, sung by Meg Myers, and it is a really great tune that will probably stick in your head for a while. It is my favorite out of the lot and I can't stop listening to it. The third song is Hot, which is actually quite good if you move past the lyrics sung by 'Kay.' This song gets really good towards the end, so if you don't like it to begin with, keep listening! The final track, with solo Canadian artist Anjulie singing is a pop-filled finish to the 4-track EP, with some sweet synths that i really enjoyed.

Just keep in mind, that if you don't particularly enjoy female pop singers, you may not like this EP, but it's definitely worth a listen.
