So first up, according to Miss Info, us Australians can expect to see Twin Shadow, Laura Marling, Wild Beasts, The Horrors & Thurston Moore at next years Laneway Festival. The Laneway festival actually run another 'festival' at the SXSW (south by south-west) in America which showcases some of the worlds greatest music. So, we can usually put our bets on seeing at least some of the artists that are featured there at Australia's Laneway, so here are the bands that were featured this year; Givers, Cloud Nothings, Royal Bangs, Foster The People, Hanni El Khatib, Cloud Control, The Holidays and The Jezabels. Austra is tipped to come after announcing a trip to Australia, with James Blake also a possible candidate.
Blink 182 and Prince have both been supposedly snared for next years Big Day Out, with Queens of the Stone Age also a possibility.
Radiohead are also expected to be touring Australia in February, and Kanye West is supposedly returning in November for his own show.
