The Shins - New Untitled Song

The Shins front man, armed with a new backing band including members of Modest Mouse an Fruit bats has been very busy lately. Last year James Mercer took a break from his band The Shins to work with producer Dangermouse (one half of Gnarls Barkley with Cee-Lo Green being the other member) to record a new record last year under the name Broken Bells. This album would have to be one of the best released albums of last year so you should definitely check it out, or take a look at the music video for the first single, The High Road here. Recently, The Shins released a cover version of David Bowie's Ashes to Ashes which definitely did the song justice. The 4th album by the band is set to be released sometime next year, with the band playing 'a slow song' live as a teaser. While the audio is not great, the song is, and James Mercer is on fire at the moment with his music it seems.
